We are hiring experienced Territory Business Development Managers for multiple states and major industrial territories across India.
This is a full-time, exclusive, territory-based role where the selected candidate will be responsible for managing business development in his or her assigned region.
The role is suitable for candidates who are already experienced in industrial storage products, racking systems, lockers, compactors, office storage, material handling, industrial furniture, or similar B2B product sales.

Candidates from other strong industrial, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, institutional, or corporate markets may also be considered based on their industry experience, local network, product knowledge, and ability to independently generate business.
Each selected candidate will be responsible for managing business development in his or her assigned territory.
Role Summary
The Territory Business Development Manager will be the main business development representative of Rolex India Engineering Co. in the assigned territory.
The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting clients, visiting sites, understanding storage requirements, coordinating with our Mumbai office for quotations and drawings, following up with clients, and closing orders.
This is not a factory-based or production role. The candidate is not required to work from our Mumbai office or factory. The role is focused on business development, client meetings, site visits, follow-ups, and order closures in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads independently in the assigned territory.
- Use existing industry experience, local contacts, and market knowledge to identify potential clients.
- Develop business with factories, offices, warehouses, institutions, architects, consultants, contractors, purchase departments, administration teams, and project teams.
- Visit client sites when required to understand the requirement, available space, site condition, quantity, and expected storage usage.
- Collect correct site information, measurements, photos, videos, and client requirements wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with the Mumbai office for quotations, pricing, drawings, product details, and commercial offers.
- Follow up with clients after quotation submission and move inquiries towards negotiation and order closure.
- Handle client communication professionally while maintaining approved pricing and company margins.
- Close orders and coordinate with the Mumbai office for order processing, documentation, payment follow-up, dispatch, and installation coordination.
- Maintain regular follow-up for advance payments, balance payments, and pending collections.
- Track local market opportunities, competitor activity, pricing trends, and client requirements.
- Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and purchase teams for repeat business.
- Maintain proper daily records of leads, meetings, site visits, quotations, follow-ups, expected orders, closed orders, and payment status.
- Attend weekly online reporting meetings with management every Saturday morning.

Engineering background is not compulsory. However, the candidate must be comfortable understanding client requirements, explaining products, and coordinating with the technical team for quotations and solutions.
Lead Generation Responsibility
The candidate will be expected to generate his or her own leads through local market knowledge, existing contacts, industry network, client visits, referrals, consultants, architects, contractors, industrial areas, factories, offices, institutions, and other relevant sources.
Company-generated leads from market portals may be shared depending on the location and type of inquiry. In such cases, the candidate will be responsible for visiting the site, coordinating with the client, following up, and closing the order.
This role is best suited for candidates who are already active in the industry and are confident in independently developing business in their region.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial storage, racking systems, lockers, compactors, office storage, material handling, industrial furniture, or related B2B product sales.
- Candidates from the same or similar product industry will be strongly preferred.
- The candidate should have practical product knowledge and should be comfortable discussing storage solutions with clients.
- Engineering background is not compulsory.
- Factory or production experience is not required.
- The candidate must be sales-focused, target-driven, and capable of generating business independently.
- Existing local market contacts and industry network will be an added advantage.
Candidate Profile

- Able to coordinate online with the Mumbai office
- Capable of professionally representing the company in the assigned territory
Working Style
This is a full-time, exclusive, territory-based role.
The selected candidate will work from his or her own city or state and will be responsible for managing business development in the assigned territory.
There will be no requirement to sit at the Mumbai office or factory on a daily basis. However, regular online communication, daily reporting, CRM updates, client follow-ups, and weekly online reviews will be mandatory.
The candidate must have a smartphone, laptop, and stable internet connection for CRM updates, online reporting, email communication, quotation follow-ups, and client coordination.
Company Support Provided
Rolex India Engineering Co. will provide the required sales support from the Mumbai office, including:
- Product catalogue / brochure
- Standard price list
- Company visiting card
- CRM / lead tracking sheet access
- Quotation support
- Drawing support, wherever required
- Technical coordination
- Product and pricing guidance
- Dispatch and order coordination support
The candidate will be responsible for collecting accurate client requirements and coordinating with the Mumbai office for quotations, pricing, drawings, and order processing.
Reporting and Reviews
The candidate will be required to maintain daily updates for leads, visits, quotations, follow-ups, and expected orders.
A weekly online reporting meeting will be held every Saturday morning.
The candidate will be expected to update management on:
- New leads generated
- Site visits completed
- Quotations submitted
- Follow-ups in progress
- Expected orders
- Orders closed
- Payment follow-ups
- Local market feedback
- Competitor activity
- Support required from Mumbai office
Monthly performance reviews will be conducted based on sales performance, pipeline strength, lead generation, quotation follow-ups, collections, and territory development.
Compensation
Compensation will include fixed monthly salary plus performance-based incentive.
Final compensation will be discussed during the interview and will depend on the candidate’s experience, product knowledge, local market network, past sales performance, and suitability for the assigned territory.
